Updates from Healthy Steps Foundation
Recent events, fundraising news, and what is next: On November 7th, 14th and 21st, Healthy Steps will provide food bags, and on December 12th hold a community Christmas extravaganza for the families we serve. Times and locations will be provided prior to the events.

Back to School in Ndejje and Bukasa-Wakiso
Dear Friends,
On October 3rd and 10th Healthy Steps held Back to School events in Ndejje and Bukasa-Wakiso. The events were well received by both communities. To our surprise, our goal of 100 families per community was reached and exceeded 2 to 3 hours before our start time of 10 am. Meeting our goal so quickly was amazing.
The event provided paper, pencils, pens, folders, notebooks, backpacks and binders to smiley children and grateful parents. In addition to school supplies the children received deworming medications, hair salon services, and sweet treats/party blowers. It was a fun time for everyone.
Healthy Steps was also able to engage in face-to-face meetings with families requesting mental health assistance, which is a major part of our core mission. As a result of these meetings, we hope to enroll two mothers in a tailoring program and four individuals in an agricultural farming program starting January 2027.
It is our hope that with each outreach opportunity the number of families served increases. All of these wonderful events are successful because of your continued prayers, love, and support.
